Controlling Crime

A Safe Block Isn’t Luck. It’s Work.

Streetlights that work. Officers who know your name. A neighborhood where kids can still play outside until the porch light comes on. That doesn’t happen by accident — it happens because someone keeps showing up for it. I have, for over a decade.

Civilian Commendation Award

Awarded for my work supporting the funding, training, and technology that helps the Syracuse Police Department actually do their jobs — not a talking point, a record.

“I’ve sat across the table from police leadership and neighbors more times than I can count. Safety isn’t a debate to me — it’s a to-do list.”

My Record

This isn’t new to me

Public safety has been part of my work in this community for over a decade, long before I ever ran for office. I know what it actually takes to keep a block safe — not what sounds good in a speech.

In Albany, I’ll push for the same things I’ve always pushed for locally:

  • Real funding for local police training and technology, not just promises
  • Support for the officers and departments already doing the work in our neighborhoods
  • Policies judged by whether they make our streets safer — not by how they poll

Safety shouldn’t be a talking point

If you want a representative who treats public safety as a record to build, not a slogan to recite, I’d appreciate your support.
