Results don’t care about party lines
The $3.3 million I helped secure for Park Avenue came through a Republican congressman. Grant support for the same work came from a Democratic Assemblyman. As County Legislator, I voted with whoever had the better idea — not whoever had the right letter next to their name.
Supporting Governor Hochul’s push to delay costly energy mandates isn’t an exception to that rule. It’s the same rule, applied at the state level: get it right, whoever’s side it’s on.
Some people think every problem gets solved with Tax and Take. I think most of them get solved by showing up and working it out.
